FLASH INFO – FREE DOM IS BACK IN THE RACE!<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

This is the great news of the day!<\/p>\n

Thibaut L\u00e9f\u00e9v\u00e8re et Nicolas Guibal are back in the race aboard Free Dom on this 4th leg!<\/p>\n

After hitting an unidentified floating object just a few days after leaving Sydney on 1st January, the crew had to turn back to repair the boat and replace the damaged rudder.<\/p>\n

They left Sydney this morning and are now heading for Valparaiso in Chile!<\/p>\n

The goal is clear: to arrive before 18th February, the start date of the fifth leg!<\/p>\n

Another big thank you to Royal Sydney Yacht Squadron and its CEO David Edwards for welcoming the Globe40 competitors.<\/p>\n

Fair winds to both of them!<\/p>\n
